An artist with his feet in several media, James Brylowski now finds himself incorporating his photographic, musical, performance and writing talents into one venue: video.

James founded Solid Porcupine Productions in 2005 only to be lost by him later that year, and once again found in 2006.  

With this film production and photography company, James has produced travel segments around the world. James has produced videos for The Discovery Network, Current TV, Conde Naste Traveller and Simon & Schuster to name a few. He has produced EPKs for several major Canadian bands including Murray McLachlan, WOODHANDS, Catherine MacLellan, Hunter Valentine, Magneta Lane and Controller Controller.   In the commercial world, James has shot and directed a number of commercials and PSA's working with names like Vicks, Advil, Reebok and Frite O Lay. James is on the roster with Getty Images ® as a media contributor, and currently produces the show ZAPX for YTV.

Whether big or small, Solid Porcupine Productions handles each project with extreme care tailoring work to each individual's distinctive taste.   Focusing on the quality and detail of the work, Solid Porcupine takes pride and satisfaction in each and every project taken on.

When not shooting videos or photos, James plays the drums, makes electronic music and writes comedy/ridiculous scripts hoping one day to spread his version of 'silly' to carefully selected organisms in the animal kingdom.
