A multi-talented artist in the areas of music, writing, photography, and cinematography, James' company, Solid Porcupine Inc., has provided a creative outlet to harness and develop these skills. Over the past 12 years James has produced travel segments around the world, working with names like The Discovery Network, Current TV, Conde Naste Traveller and Simon & Schuster to name a few. He has produced EPKs for several major Canadian bands including Murray McLachlan, WOODHANDS and Catherine MacLellan. In the commercial world, James has shot and directed a number of commercials and PSA's as well as having shot commercial photography campaigns. James is on the roster with Getty Images ® as a media contributor. He produced and directed a television show for YTV for a season and is currently developing a television series.

Since 2003, Brylowski has produced and directed captivating video segments around the world, a TV series for the Canadian broadcaster YTV and a number of commercials.
In 2014, Brylowski wrote, directed, produced and was the director of photography on the BravoFACT short film, A Mile in these Hooves. The film won a Golden Sheaf Award for Best Comedy and got him a nomination for Best Director (fiction) at its premiere at the Yorkton Film Festival. The film has gone on to win numerous awards and screen at festivals around the world.
In 2014 Brylowski was nominated for a prestigious KM Hunter Award in the Film and Television category. He is an accomplished comedy writer and director and an alumnus of Humber College’s Comedy Writing and Performing program.
